Jigger according to the use of the scope of technical parameters and classification analysis
A jigger is a piece of equipment that realises the process of jigging. The process in which materials are sorted according to density differences mainly in a vertically lifting variable speed media flow. The difference in particle size and shape of the material has an effect on the beneficiation results. The medium used in jigging can be water or air. When water is used as the sorting medium, it is called hydraulic jigging; when air is used as the sorting medium, it is called wind jigging. According to the scope of use, jigger is divided into coal jigger and mineral processing jigger two categories are introduced.
1、Jigging machine for coal beneficiation
Sieve side air chamber jigger is currently used in China's coal beneficiation plant jigger. According to its structure and different uses, the screen side air chamber jigger can be divided into three kinds of jigger for unclassified coal, lump coal jigger and final coal jigger.
The jigger consists of body 1, air valve 2, screen plate 6, discharge device 4, 5 and discharge gangway 8, discharge middle coal road 7 and other parts. The machine body is divided into air chamber and jigging chamber by longitudinal partition 9, and the lower part of the two chambers is connected. The upper part of the air chamber is closed, and there is an air valve, the function of which is to give the compressed air into the air chamber alternately, and at the same time, the compressed air in the air chamber will be discharged outside according to the law. When given into the compressed air, the water in the jigging chamber is forced to rise; to be compressed air discharged from the air chamber, the water level in the jigging chamber and automatically fall, therefore, pushing the jigging chamber water surface up and down to form a pulsating water flow 10, such as changing the amount of compressed air into the jigger can be adjusted to adjust the water flow in the jigger stroke, change the speed of the movement of the damper can be adjusted to adjust the frequency of the water flow pulsation. The top water enters from the top water inlet pipe 13 in the lower part of the air chamber to change the movement characteristics of the water flow in the jigger, and to form a horizontal flow in the jigging chamber, which is convenient for transporting the materials, and at the same time, makes the materials in the jigging chamber to be loosened and stratified. The flushing water in the jigger is fed from the header together with the raw coal. After the raw coal is sorted by stratification in the jigger, the heavy products of gangue and coal in the first section (gangue section) and the second section (middle coal section) are discharged to their respective discharge channel through the discharge device at the end of each section, and discharged to their respective discharge ports together with the small particles of heavy products of the permeable sieve, and then discharged through the dewatering hopper elevator which is sealed with the machine body. The light product (fine coal) is discharged from the overflow port to the machine body.
2、Ore dressing jigger
There are many kinds of jigging machine for mineral processing, the widely used diaphragm jigger in the re-election plant, according to the diaphragm is located in different divisions: on the (side) movable diaphragm jigger; under the movable conical diaphragm jigger; side movable diaphragm jigger; double vibration jigger and round jigger and so on.
Upper (side) movable diaphragm jigger is widely used in China for sorting tungsten ore, tin ore and gold ore. The upper limit of sorting size can reach 12~18mm, and the lower limit is 0.2mm, which can be used as the sorting of coarse, medium and fine grained ores, and also can be used as the roughing or selecting equipment.
The basic structure of the upper (side) movable diaphragm jigger is shown in the figure. It consists of frame, jigging chamber, diaphragm chamber, mesh chamber, rubber diaphragm, water separation valve and transmission eccentric mechanism. The machine has two jigging chambers, at the beginning of a jigging chamber feed after sorting into the second jigging chamber. The water flow in each chamber is driven by the eccentric linkage mechanism, which makes the rocker arm shake, so the two links drive the diaphragm of the two chambers to make alternating upward and downward reciprocating motion, thus forcing the water in the jigging chamber to produce up and down alternating motion. The stroke and times of the jigger can be adjusted according to the requirements.
There is only one type of stereotyped product in the upper (side) movable diaphragm jigger, each chamber is 300mm wide and 450mm long, and the two chambers are connected in series.
Mining jigger has the advantages of large range of stroke adjustment, adapting to a wide range of feed size, uniform water drumming, stable bed, good sorting index, easy discharge of concentrate, can be obtained at a time of coarse concentrate or qualified concentrate, large productivity per unit area, easy to operate and maintain, and so on. The disadvantages are: small size of the single machine, low production capacity, because the diaphragm room occupies half of the machine body, therefore, covers a large area.
